You've found some alumnae members who might be willing to write you a rec! Hooray!
First things first: what is a rec? A "rec" or recommendation, is synonymous with the word "riff" and they are used interchangeably. A letter of support is an extra letter, not necessary. The rec is done by a sorority ALUMAE (not a current active member) via each sorority's national website.
Which sororities require recs? Visit the TAMU Panhellenic page and roll over "Chapters" and you'll see all the sororities and each of their national and local websites.
Here are some example emails to edit with your own information. The words in ALL CAPS should be edited and updated as appropriate

My high school years consisted of sports, community service and a variety of hobbies. On weekends, I spent time with my friends exploring the outdoors, running my child and pet care business, working out, and cooking. I developed my love for athletics from my constant involvement in school and club sports. I participated in varsity volleyball, varsity basketball, and ultimate frisbee, where I held various captain positions and was recognized by our district both for skill and in academics. In addition to sports, volunteer work dramatically altered my character and perspective. For the past four years, I volunteered at local organizations through the Austin Symphony Youth Leadership Council as a hostess and to support Coats for Kids, in fundraising for JDRF and with my school. Each spring, Hyde Park gave me opportunities to take mission trips to different places, including Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. These mission trips created a new appreciation for the needs of others both around the world and in my community. Throughout the many activitiesI participated in at Hyde Park including as an admissions ambassador, an administration-selected Unity Prefect and College Board National Award Recipient, I developed leadership skills and confidence for my next chapter of life at TAMU.
I hope to thrive in a sorority that encourages meaningful relationships, health and wellness and community service. Whether or not I take on an official leadership role, I plan to find my sphere of influence and impact my sorority for the better.
